Canadian screen actress who is famous for her role as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Her first appearance was on CBS' Blood & Treasure, from 2019 onwards. Other appearances include Earthstorm from 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she starred in 2005. Silk was born Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, her father being Peter Silk who is an academic. His wife Ilkay is an actor as well as a director, producer, and playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Annas earliest memories of childhood include being a spectator to her mother's work in play rehearsals. Silk played a role as a youngster in numerous commercials. She was in 1997 when she earned an undergraduate education in the field of theater from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two early plays: Seven Menus. The couple has two sons, Samuel and Levi. The actress was in 2009 when she was cast as the main character in Lost Girl. CNN has named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren as Lauren in Lost Girl as a same-sex couple one of their favorite TV couples of all time. E! named them the top Television Couple for 2013.
